We cannot forget to spend a little time describing our trusty steed who has carried us all around Sardegna. It is a Peugot Partner, part car/part SUV. He got a couple flat tires early on (due to poor driving/parking), but otherwise has been reliable and roomy (in a Euro sense).
We have nicknamed our car--Appa. Appa is a large, flying, square bodied beast in the kids TV series Avatar (which by the way the whole family is addicted to, we brought DVDs) -- Yip, yip (go). (Carly pic)
Car seat laws are a bit different here. We have gotten very close with an adult and 3 children in the backseat. Carly prefers the side when in the back, I prefer the middle, and Michael prefers to drive. (Carly pic)
